Julie is the Property Administrator for the New Jersey Water Supply Authority, which entails the purchase and management of open space parcels as well as the management of agreements and leases for properties along the D&R Canal. She has a diverse background in the field of environmental education and administration and has been with the Authority since 2008.

Julie graduated from Virginia Wesleyan College with a Bachelors of Arts in Social Ecology in 1996. She served as an AmeriCorps member in New Brunswick in the New Jersey Community Water Watch Program and subsequently held several positions with non-profit organizations in New Jersey as an environmental educator. She worked in the Resource Center for the Association of NJ Environmental Commissions and as a Wetlands Research Specialist for the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association. Julie also worked in the corporate world for several years as an instructor for a 2-day course in federal environmental regulations, taught in venues across the country. She currently holds a license as a real estate salesperson in the state of New Jersey.

In her free time, Julie enjoys hiking, kayaking, camping, contra dancing, and traveling. She aspires to own and operate an alpaca farm someday.
