Stormwater & Flood Management

Subcommittee Chair - Richard Pollard

Identify needs and strategies to develop an institutional framework for a regional, watershed- based approach to stormwater management related to future development.  In addition, identify strategies for managing stormwater from existing development and linking both types of management on a watershed basis.  These strategies should include setting priorities, identifying infrastructure, and developing priorities and costs associated with watershed based stormwater planning.  In addition, identify areas where flooding may be reduced as a result of stormwater management.

The Lower Raritan Stormwater activities currently are on hold.  Discussions regarding regional stormwater management planning are occurring at the Basin level.  Info and details will be posted here.
