WMA8 - North and South Branch Raritan River Watershed

Size & Location: The North and South Branch Raritan WMA is 468 square miles. Located in Central New Jersey, the WMA is surrounded by the Upper Delaware to the northwest, the Upper Passaic to the northeast, the Millstone and Lower Raritan to the east and the Central Delaware Tributaries to the west.

Major Waterways: North & South Branches of the Raritan River, Neshanic River, Spruce Run, Lamington River

Major Highways: Interstate 78, US Highways 22, 202 & 206, State Route 31

Counties: Morris, Hunterdon, Somerset

Open Space Areas: Round Valley, Spruce Run, Black River, South Branch

WMA9 - Lower Raritan, South River and Lawrence Brook Watershed

Size & Location: The Lower Raritan WMA is 352 square miles. Located in Central New Jersey, the WMA is surrounded by the Upper Passaic to the north, the Arthur Kill and Monmouth Watersheds to the east, the Millstone to the southwest and the North & South Branch to the west.

Major Waterways: The main-stem Raritan River, Green Brook, South River, Lawrence Brook, Manalapan Brook

Major Highways: Interstate 287, the New Jersey Turnpike, US Highways 1 & 9, State Routes 18 & 28

Counties: Middlesex, Monmouth, Somerset, Union

Open Space Areas: Thompson Park, Jamesburg Park, Monmouth Battlefield

WMA10 - Millstone River Watershed

Size & Location: The Millstone WMA is 285 square miles. Located in Central New Jersey, the WMA is surrounded by the North & South Branch to the northwest, the Lower Raritan to the east, the Barnegat Bay watersheds and the Crosswick Creek to the south and the Central Delaware Tributaries to the southwest.

Major Waterways: Millstone River, Stony Brook, Beden Brook, Cranbury Brook, Devil's Brook

Major Highways: The New Jersey Turnpike, US Highways 1, 130 & 206, State Routes 27 & 33

Counties: Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Somerset

Open Space Areas: Sourland Mountains, Delaware & Raritan Canal, Princeton Battlefield
