Moving Towards Healthy Watersheds:  Watershed Implementation in the Raritan Basin

On December 6, 2005, The Raritan Basin Watershed Alliance (RBWA) will hold a conference at the Ramada Inn in Somerset highlighting some of the exciting and innovative watershed improvement projects in the Raritan Basin.  Some of projects might include restoration projects, major land acquisitions, improved municipal master plans and ordinances, implementation of innovative best management practices, development of education programs or initiatives, etc.

If you have a “watershed success story” that you would like to share with the Basin, please contact Michelle Segal at The New Jersey Water Supply Authority by October 29th.  Success stories can be completed or ongoing projects.  While we may not be able to feature all of the projects at Moving Towards Healthy Watersheds:  Watershed Implementation in the Raritan Basin on December 6th, all of the success stories that we collect will be compiled and distributed at the conference and posted on the RBWA website.  Some projects will also be highlighted in future issues of the Basin Bulletin.

Stay tuned to www.raritanbasin.org for registration information and the program agenda.
