North Jersey RC&D to Host Restoration Workshops

North Jersey RC&D is hosting two restoration workshops this fall.  These workshops are designed for citizens interested in protecting their local resources.

Protect Our Streams

Mowed grass to waters edge?

Learn the importance of stream side buffers and about ways to protect stream corridors in your town.

This workshop will include an afternoon bus trip showcasing four completed buffer planting sites.

 Restore Our Streams

Eroding stream banks concerning you?

By combining classroom education and hands-on field experience, participants will understand the

fundamentals of restoring and enhancing streams at this workshop. 

Saturday, November 5, 2005  

Raritan Township, Hunterdon County

Cost: $35.00
