Raritan Highlands Compact to discuss Stormwater Mitigation Plans

In furtherance of its goal of helping member towns to meet the requirements of the new stormwater rules, the Raritan Highlands Compact will be conducting a presentation on stormwater mitigation plans at our meeting at the end of April.  It will be designed to explain to municipal officials and town representatives why mitigation plans are necessary although not mandated by the stormwater rules, what types of information towns should be collecting in order to identify and plan for sites for potential mitigation,  and what information must be supplied pursuant to on going reporting requirements of the rules.
