Upper Raritan Watershed Association  

 

All programs take place at Fairview Farm Wildlife Preserve, 2121 Larger Cross Rd , Bedminster , NJ unless otherwise specified.

Volunteer Stream Monitoring Training~ Learn the skills required to collect a stream water sample and visual survey.  Volunteers will visit monitoring sites between June 15 and 30.  No background is necessary. Saturday, May 5, 1:00 pm, rain date-May 6

 

Spring Family Celebration~ Gather around the fire to roast hotdogs and marshmallows.  Enjoy crafts, a scavenger hunt and a butterfly demonstration. 

All ages welcome. Friday, May 11, 6-8 pm   Cost:  Member: $10 per family; Nonmember: $15 per family

 

Bird walk on Fairview Farm~ Enjoy a morning searching for birds of field, forest and scrub-shrub habitat.  All level birders are welcome.  Binoculars available. Saturday, May 26, 7-9 am.  FREE

 

Annual Stream Cleanup~ Tiger Brook, Chester Twp.  Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Saturday, June 9, 9 am-12 pm

 

Summer Nature Day Camp~ A unique outdoor learning experience which fosters an appreciation for nature.  Registration deadline is June 1. June 25-29, Nature Explorers, ages 5-6

July 9-13, Nature Adventurers, ages 7-10
