Ryan joined the NJWSA’s Watershed Protection Programs Division in 2025, where he works on the River-Friendly Program, water quality monitoring, and land stewardship.  He has more than a decade of natural resource management and conservation experience, both in the public and private sectors.  Some of his previous work includes marine fisheries management, environmental education and outreach, stream restoration, and trails management.  Ryan holds a master’s degree from the University of Florida, where he researched the utility of citizen science fishing data for recreational fisheries assessment and management.  He is also pursuing a master’s degree in forestry from Mississippi State University.

Ryan enjoys being with his family and reading, as well as outdoor activities like hiking, surfing, snowboarding, and fishing.
